We offer a few groups designed to empower individuals in various aspects of their lives. All groups are inclusive and have limited sizes to ensure personalized attention.

Interpersonal Process Group

Utilizing Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Choose between our in-person and virtual/online group formats. These groups are interpersonal process groups that use the concept of “schemas” or “parts” in helping members understand and express their internal experience and deal with internal conflicts. Many of the individuals who have taken part in this type of group in the past have had early trauma and/or neglect, vague or complex presenting concerns and issues that often go back to childhood. They also tend to have difficult relationships with their parents/families. If you are participating in individual therapy at our clinic or elsewhere, we recommend that you continue that work while participating in this group.

Time: Tuesdays, 6:30-7:45pm (in-person); Thursdays, 3-4:15pm (online)

Cost: $50/week/person (can utilize United Healthcare benefits, or self-pay)

Boundaries & Assertiveness Group

If you are struggling with how to deal with a loved one’s behavior (family member, partner, friend), because of how this person is treating you, or causing problems in your life, this might be the group for you. This group will equip you with skills in boundaries and assertiveness, as well as ongoing support, and advice on exactly what to do. Whether you are the parent of an adult child who has a substance use issue, or the spouse of a compulsive gambler, an adult child of a manipulative or abusive parent or sibling, etc. (to illustrate a few examples) this group might be of great help to you. Learn how to protect your dignity, take charge of your life, and get out of the chaos. Do NOT bring the loved one you’re struggling with to this group, for this is not a couples/family therapy group. Those services can be provided separately/privately by an expert at our clinic.
