Understanding Mental Game Coaching
Are you (or your athletes) performing poorly in competition compared to practice? If so, your mental game might be the culprit. Are you so frustrated with your performance that you feel like you’re never happy? Does your confidence evaporate when you go into competition? Do you become frustrated easily with mistakes and it snowballs into more mistakes?
Mental game coaching can help athletes uncover the mindsets that cause them to lose confidence, composure, focus and enjoyment in sports.
Tim Rudder, LCSW, MGCP, helps athletes and parents learn mental game skills for peak performance in sports. Tim earned his Mental Game Coaching Professional (MGCP) certification from Dr. Cohn at Peak Performance Sports and has earned a Masters in Social Work from the University of Missouri - Columbia and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW.
