Dr. Evan Buckmiller, DO
Evan Buckmiller, DO is a Resident Psychiatrist at the University of Missouri Psychiatry program. Prior to coming to Columbia, Evan started his medical training in Kansas City at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. For Evan's 3rd and 4th years of medical school, Evan elected to move to Springfield, MO. Prior to medical school, Evan graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT with a degree in Genetics and Biotechnology. During Evan's time at Brigham Young University, Evan took 2 years away from his academic studies to serve the people of Guadalajara, Mexico as a missionary for his church. Evan's passions include spending time outdoors fishing, hunting, and working on cars, but above all he enjoys spending time with his family. Evan's passion for mental health stems from a fascination with the effects that mental health has on all other aspects of one's own health, and he believes that good mental health serves as a foundation for overall improved health. We are proud to have Evan on our team as part of our collaborative team of clinicians.
